This 120 VAC ballast is designed to make fluorescent lamps flash, while preserving a normal lamp life. This is made possible due to a patented electronic switch (US patent no: 5,936,356). The ballast can operate in two modes: "on" continuously or "flashing". A number of ballasts can be interconnected to operate, either in a synchronised flashing mode or in sequences.
